Snake Oil

Snake Oil

New Candle! 🔥

I’ve been excited to share this one with you. It’s an extra meaningful one to me because it represents a special freedom that I’ve worked hard to achieve.

Being a business owner includes working with others. I’ve come across 2 snakes in this business that I took seriously for a while. One threw legal terms at me and bled me with fees for a few months, after I asked to leave. That person is long in my past, the lessons have stuck.

I’ve been following the business page of a prominent candle maker. She contacted me, it went well for a moment, but then things started to feel weird, so I looked up some reviews. You can see how the conversation went. That inspired this candle.

This piece represents walk away power, to me. And I wish that power on everyone. If something doesn’t feel right, that you have the power to walk away. Sometimes that takes a lot, and can only be done with help. I am grateful for the help ive had, and I wish help for anyone who needs it.

This also represents change. And the stories we tell ourselves of what we can and can’t do.

DISCLAIMER: I do not mean to sass modern medicine. Actual medicine can be incredibly helpful and i am deeply grateful for it. The mind and body are complicated.

We also know placebos work, not with everything, but it does support the power of the mind. Sometimes you can even know you’re taking the placebo and it still works.

Snake Oil

A smooth, enticing blend of incense, spice, golden vanilla, dark powder, and fire embers.

Mood: Soft & smooth. Creamy golden vanilla blends with powdery sandalwood incense for a dreamy aroma. A hint of toasty embers spices up this scent for a cozy, velvety atmosphere.

Scent Strength: Medium 🔥🔥

Illuminate…

The mind has power ~ or else placebos wouldn’t work. Harness your snake oil. Rewrite the stories you don’t want. Plant new seeds, & tend them well. Transform your tale with intention. New roots grow. New habits form. Shed the past, slide into the future.
