EBA Then & Now

EBA Then & Now

Earth Berry Apothecary has been a fantasy candle company for about five years now. Here are a few items from our past. It’s really cool to see how much things have changed since then.

Wolf Pack has always been one of our best selling candles. Check out the original label! I remember thinking it looked like the Hedgewitch was on the moon, and this photo is probably why I associate the two. You should see how nice it looks now!

The new wolf pack maintains the original enchanting scent, but with a whole new design. It’s also available as a crackling wood wick candle.

Ah.. the original dragon’s blood soap. It sure was gorgeous to look at, but we found it a bit tedious. It did get a lot of love, and perhaps we should bring it back some day.

This is what dragon’s blood soap looks like now. It’s come a long way, and this version is made with the cold pressed method. Such a great scent.. one of my favorites!

This is what our coffee soap looked like in the past. Personally, I think it looked too delicious, and I was often tempted to eat it!

This is what it looks like now, although this is the hazelnut coffee version. It’s a fantastic soap, and it has gained a lot of fans over the years. I still encourage you not to eat the soaps regardless of your temptation to do so.

The following are some items we don’t make anymore. Which ones would you like to see make a comeback?

Body scrub. I remember this stuff. It works great, and there really is nothing like it. It never caught on like we would have liked, but it certainly lead us to other concepts that are now a staple of EBA.

Our soaps used to look like this. They have certainly come a long way, but it’s kind of nice to see how they’ve developed over time. Back then, our soaps closely resembled food. I’m not sure that was ever our intention, but it wasn’t without its successes.

We do still make bath bombs, but we make them for personal use. They are pretty incredible, and I never have a bath without one. We might be able to revive this one in the future sometime.

Here’s a fun fact. When EBA started, I was still working as a professional diver. The helmet pictured is actually an item I own in my garage. It doesn’t really work as a dive helmet because it’s a replica, but it sure looks cool. Abyss was a great scent. I believe it’s found its way into other, more developed candle recipes.

So, which ones would you like to see come back? Do you have any ideas for a cool soap or candle? Let us know in the comments below.
